1920’s Original Vintage Broad Brim Hat.
This charming blue “pedaline” or imitation horse hat is decorated with pink flowers on the side. There is a wide velvet band and bow on one side and the flowers on the other. There is detailed stitching around the edge of the brim, the crown, and the top of the crown. There is a lace overlay around the brim and the sides of the crown. The inside band is a wide fabric. There is also blue lace overlay repeated on the underside of the brim.
The inside measures 22”.
The crown has a wire support.
The velvet has come off on the ribbon and looks a bit dingy flowers have some fraying on the edges. The inside hat band has some shredding. There are numerous breaks and two poor repairs in the edge of the brim.
