Description

We are proud to offer a very scarce item related to the Jules Rimet First World Football Cup held in Montevideo in 1930.
This souvenir card was issued by the German company Bayer in Montevideo to congratulate the Uruguayan champions of the 1930 World Cup, following the 1924 and 1928 Olympic Games also won by our national team on football (soccer).
The card itself represents the complete fixture of the tournament, the head photos of the 11 champions and an aerial view of the Centenario Stadium, built in record time for that purpose. There is also Cafiaspirina and Fenaspirina adverts which were flag products offered by Bayer by then.
Excellent condition overall, printed on thin stock cardboard, folded as issued and showing the customary star punch applied by the Uruguayan taxing authorities of the time (this represents a tax revenue collection for advertising materials).
Please check hi-res images for better judgement of great actual condition.
AL OUR ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED ORIGINAL FOR LIFE: WE DO NOT SELL COPIES; XEROXES and/or REPRODUCTIONS.
ALL IN ALL AN HISTORICAL ITEM HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE.
