Victorian W. Scott Ryder Boston Label Black Orange Velvet Trim Small Bonnet Hat
This antique Victorian era W. Scott Ryder Boston label black orange velvet trim small bonnet hat dates from 1890. It is made of a black velvet fabric with a peachy orange color velvet ribbon, black pleated silk chiffon, black ostrich feather embellishments and black jet beaded trim edging around the front opening. This beautiful bonnet has a small petite half hat style, with fanciful trimmings, black velvet ribbon ties for securing under the chin and is fully lined with a "W. Scott Ryder Boston" label inside. The bonnet measures 6 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 3 inches deep. It is in good condition, with only some wear to the velvet nap edging the front. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana millinery wearable art!
