In the much anticipated 2006 Rose Bowl, Vince Young led the University of Texas Longhorns to a BCS National Championship against the defending USC Trojans. UT subsequrently retired Young's jersey in 2008. Young played for the Tennessee Titans for six seasons (2006 - 2010)
