Vintage Womens Veiled Natural Straw Sailor Style Skimmer Boater Hat
This vintage womens veiled natural straw sailor style skimmer boater hat dates from the 1940s. It is made of a tightly woven basket weave style layered natural straw, with a brown velvet ribbon hatband side bow and brown net veil trim. This beautiful boater skimmer style womens summer hat has a stiff round shape low crown and scalloped edge brim which is wider in the front, narrow in the back and has a size 22 tag inside. The hat measures 10 inches wide across. It is in good condition, with only some frayed holes in the net veil. This is truly a wonderful womens outdoor sportswear wearable millinery art!
